Physical strength, increasing as she fills out
Intelligence (if given time to think, not when put on the spot)

Appearance:

A long limbed doe who bares a lot of resemblance to a hare (but is in fact a rabbit).
Hemlock is steely grey with a dark mask and a piebald underbelly and forepaws. She is unnaturally tall and her large ears only add to this, making her the same height as Gladiolus. However, Hemlock is very lean and a lot of her height comes from her long limbs, rather than being the general giant Gladiolus is.

Height: 6 whiskers

Personality:
Hemlock's main motivation for fighting is to gain a higher rank, and a feeling of validation. She feels no attachment to anyone in Buttercup Hill, despite that being her birthplace, so has no qualms with fighting against them. She joined Bogweed to escape the suspicious looks of the Buttercup Hill rabbits and give herself a better chance of a fufilling life, and she doesn't care what she has to do to get it.

Postives:
Driven
Cunning if given time to calm down and think
Sympathetic to those less fortunate (surprisingly)
Rarely backs down
Once her loyalty is earned, it is never lost

Negatives:
 Resorts to violence if angered
Attracted to power
Prone to impulsiveness
Acts proud but actually...
Low self esteem

Backstory:
Early Life
Hemlock was born in Buttercup Hill to an unknown father. Her mother was never present past her weening, rather leaving the warren's communal mothers and fathers to raise her. Many rabbits began to become suspicious of why this young kitten was rejected by even her own kin and avoided her, to the point of not allowing their kittens to befriend her. Because of this, Hemlock was always torn between being cold to the rabbits who rejected her, and desperate to prove herself. Feeling like an outcast within her own warren, Hemlock became an outskirter as soon as she was large enough to defend herself, straying to the edge of Buttercup Hill, but never daring to go beyond the boundary. Her only friend was a rabbit called Quill. Small and meek, they were prone to being bullied, and Hemlock used her larger size to intimidate their shared rivals. One rabbit, the esteemed son of two Owsla, was especially cruel, and one day tore Quill's ear, leaving it permanently lopped. Hemlock was furious at the maiming of her friend, and fought him, winning and leaving him with a scar to remember her by. That should have been the end of it.
Crabgrass was found dead in a snare barely 3 sunrises later.
While she pleaded innocent until her last, Hemlock was exiled from Buttercup hill, and later was captured by a Bogweed patrol.

Prisoner
As a prisoner of Bogweed, Hemlock was determined to fight her way to a higher rank, both literally and figuratively.
Hemlock met a fellow prisoner, Moth, who seemed to enjoy her ideas, which were not of escape as many prisoners' were, but of rising through the ranks and bettering the warren as a whole. The way she saw it, there was little for her in Buttercup, of the Bogweeds were willing to give her a chance, she would take it with both paws. (A prisoner's welcome (RP))
She originally caught the eye of Sergeant Rahilil, who saw potential in her unbroken spirit and large stature, even at such a young age. The dark buck took her out for a trial, which she passed, if unconventionally. (A Trial in Bogweed- Detritus (pt.1)) (A Trial in Bogweed- Rematch (pt.2))
Hemlock though she was on her way out, but as fate would have it, the same Sergeant was then stripped of his rank, and his ears; becoming Private Downpour.
While Downpour no longer had any sway over her rank, Healer Sainfoin agreed to help, and the three plotted to present Hemlock to The General. With the word of the healer, and Downpour to vouch for her fighting skills, Hemlock would at last have a shot at being moved to Private rank.
This all went according to plan. Despite accepting her as a Private, Gladiolus made it abundantly clear that he did not trust her, and any dissent from a former Buttercup would be not only snuffed, but used as an example to all those who came to Bogweed.
(Late Conversations (Down/Hem/Sain pt1)) (Early Snows (Down/Hem/Sain pt2))
(A freedom of sorts (pt 1)) (A freedom of sorts (pt 2)
The precise reason for her eventual exodus from Buttercup Hill is unknown to anyone in Bogweed, and she seems to avoid the question or give a vague answer like 'I wasn't welcome there'. In all fairness, this answer, whilst unsatisfactory to those who hear it, is still true at it's core.

Private
Hemlock was assigned Sergeant Jasmine as her mentor, a small, grey-and-white rabbit, who also happened to be the partner or Gladiolus. Hemlock was dubious why such an important rabbit would have been assigned a Buttercup exile as a Private, were they trying to keep a close eye on her? Either way, she was dead set on not giving them anything to be suspicious of.
The private had predicted her mentor to be someone harsh, to beat out any thoughts of Buttercup and run her so exhausted she couldn't even think of betraying Bogweed. As it happened, Jasmine was perhaps the most cheerful and outgoing rabbits in Bogweed wood, and Hemlock found her a pleasant (if unexpected) mentor, who firmly believed in positive reinforcement. (First lesson (Hemlock, Jasmine))
Downpour shared a den with Hemlock now, as the two were both Privates, and he became the first rabbit in Bogweed to know of her origins, and the cause of her exile from Buttercup. (The dawn patrol (Hemlock/Downpour))
Not long into her traineeship, Hemlock was faced with a test of loyalty. This came in the form of a battle with Buttercup, where she was faced with not only her mother (who she had minimal reservations about fighting) but her brother Slate. Slate, despite turning a blind eye to their mother's neglect of Hemlock, was one of the few rabbits willing to stand up for her against the other kits, and later Muddypaws. Yet she fought him, even as she saw the betrayal in his eyes. Though she couldn't return to Buttercup like Slate insisted, she couldn't help feel torn at pushing away the last family she had in Buttercup. In fact, the last family in the world who loved her. (A family reunion (Slate/Hemlock feat. Sowthistle)
Slate later died, unbeknownst to Hemlock, of what Sowthistle believed to be a broken heart. As Buttercup and Bogweed were still at war, she was never able to apologise for what she did to him.

Sergeant
The last act Hemlock did as a Private was take part in the Battle of the Eclipse. She fought Sowthistle again, as well as a former rival, Feldspar, before the Lan-hraeth rabbits overwhelmed both warrens. She watched horror struck, but not fighting, as Lan-hraeth imprisoned members from both Buttercup and Bogweed.
(Clashing Eclipse Part 1)(The Stars Appear Part 2)
When what remained of Bogweed warren regrouped, Hemlock was made a Sergeant, finally having proven her loyalty to Bogweed, both against Buttercup and now the new threat of Lan-hraeth. Some rabbits had chosen to abandon their current warrens in favour of the new star worshipers. Hemlock wouldn't, she couldn't, after all she had fought for in Bogweed. And yet, part of her wondered if it would honestly be so different living in Lan-hraeth. Being so easily displaced from Buttercup and now facing the same happening from Bogweed, a cynical part of Hemlock's mind was past caring.
Who gave a squirrel's fart about gods and following some legend about the stars or the moon or the sun. Would it keep more rabbits from hunger? Heal the sick any better? Stop wars like the one that had been plaguing Bogweed and Buttercup for countless generations?
She doubted it.
Hemlock came to doubt a lot of things.

Roleplay Example:

She couldn’t speak. She couldn’t defend herself. Hemlock looked around but she was no longer on the battle field. She was in the muddypaw den at Buttercup Hill. Confusion sparked in her, which only strengthened as she saw herself, but much younger.
“My mama says you’re cursed,” said a muddypaw buck, in the matter of fact way only a child can, “she says I’m not allowed to talk to you.” Hemlock watched as her younger self flattened her ears and looked at the ground, unanswering.
“Fight back,” she hissed, but muddypaw Hemlock didn’t listen.
“She won’t even deny it, so it must be true,” said a familiar voice.
Adult Hemlock’s head shot up in shock, “Crabgrass?”
The red buck sauntered into the den, a smug air about him, even as young as he was in this memory.
“I don’t even know why they decided to make you an Owsla, you’re just a weirdo and we all know it,” he laughed cruelly.
The other buck jeered, “haha, yeah, weirdo.”
Crabgrass grinned at him, “I heard she ate her own siblings and that’s why they were born dead.”
“Defend yourself!” Hemlock growled, stalking closer to her younger self. But she didn’t, she just tucked herself smaller, still scuffing at the rocks under her paws.
“Aaand,” Crabgrass went on, fueled by the other buck’s enthusiasm, “her own mother doesn’t even want her, like, we all know that, but it’s still weird.”
She snarled at her younger self, “No one else is going to help you, you need to stand up for yourself or…”
“STOP.”
She froze.
Younger Hemlock looked up.
Slate stood in the doorway to the den.
“Leave my sister alone!” he growled, staring at the muddypaws.
The den started to fade, the last thing she saw was young Hemlock, running towards her brother.

She blinked forcefully and opened her eyes again; Slate was standing over her. She tried to get to her feet but he cuffed her and she collapsed again. There were tears in his eyes. The gravity of what she had done finally dawned on her. Her lungs still burned and she couldn’t gather enough air to speak. She had been so absorbed in the betrayal inflicted upon her, that she’d done the same to the only family member who ever loved her. She blinked back tears, not sure if they came from her aching chest or looking at the pain in Slate’s gaze. He won’t forgive me for this, she thought, I don’t have any family in Buttercup anymore.
